Ghanaian socialite Ayisha Modi, has claimed she gave Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II a hefty sum of money as a loan.
Refusing to disclose the amount, Aisha indicated that the said loan was what Otumfuo Osei Tutu II used to purchase a house in London.
In a video shared on Instagram, Aisha can be see in a phone conversation with one Afia, (whom netizens suspect is Afia Schwarzenegger) who has fallen on hard times and is seeking financial aid from her.
“If I had known this was you predicament I wouldn’t have given Otumfuo the money I gave him as a loan to purchase his London home. I would have rather given that money to you Afia,” she said over the phone.
Afia on the other end of the phone seemed to have been surprised by Aisha’s claim which led to her (Aisha) reiterating, “ooh you didn’t know? I gave Otumfuo the money to buy his house in London.”
According to Aisha what breaks her heart the most is the fact that Otumfuo has refused to pay her back after all this while. “Ever since he paid me £1, he has not made any payment again.”
She assured Afia that should she had informed her of the situation she was in earlier, she would have dragged Otumfuo on her socials to ensure she received her money and helped her (Afia) out.
“I am sorry you’re going to all this stress,” she consoled Afia.
Aisha however advised Afia against biting the fingers which feed her, and also told her to apologize to those she has wronged.
The now trending video has raised a lot of questions about the truth of Aisha’s claims, with many asking her to clarify the video.
