A Ghanaian German borga has cried out in a self-recorded video that he is fed up and tired of living abroad.
The Ghanaian man in Germany disclosed he had stayed in Germany for 32 years and is now fed.
According to the Ghanaian German borga, he didn’t give birth early and could not leave his children in Germany and return home over fear of their lives being ruined after he left.
Speaking in a self-recorded video, the Ghanaian borga stated, “Let’s be honest and say the truth I am fed up with living abroad. I’m tired. It’s been 32 years already. I also didn’t give birth early. My last born, a girl, is now 17 years old. I have four children, the third one is also 21 years and they’re all still in school, if I say I am leaving them their life might be ruined.
Even though the building they have not started work to be able to pay for rent, I am also tired, I am fed up with living abroad”, he added.
He further lamented, “By now, I will be on my mother and father’s land they left for me. I will go and live in the village to grow plantain Kotonmire and garden eggs for some Ampesi to eat to sleep somewhere, where are we taking the world to?
Kennedy Agyapong and the people with money even if they will eat just a little, even the ladies how many are they after?”.
Some Ghanaians under the post have reacted. to the man video saying, “ Navigating life abroad can be challenging, especially when balancing cultural identities. It’s crucial to weigh options and seek supportive communities. Returning home can be daunting, but it might offer a fresh start and a chance to reconnect with one’s roots”.
“Some of the sacrifices sometimes go beyond you. But this should be a reminder that if you hope to return home one day, start planning and working hard towards it. Not until the last minute”, another stated.
A netizen also stated, “The sad thing is his children will never come to Ghana They are Germans now, come to Ghana and enjoy your farmlands get some sweet woman beside you and enjoy your life”.
One X user also wrote, “If you’re sick and tired of living in abroad come home and rest because it’s not easy in there if you die today your children you’re thinking of their education will forget you and enjoy life”.
“Africans have all the excuses in the world why they can not return home to Africa. The truth is, they can not afford to relocate back. Slaves who are used to toil full time and be fed by their masters do not have time to perfect their minds to be creative & self-sufficient”, another stated.
Additionally, another netizen stated, “You have lived in Germany for 32 years but you are living there like someone who has gone to Germany on a business trip. How can you enjoy in Germany”.
