Ghanaians on social media have reacted to Kennedy Agyapong a former New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential hopeful telling Ghanaians the NDC promised heaven and quizzed if they are seeing heaven.
According to one netizen, for eight years under the New Patriotic Party-led government under Akufo-Addo and Bawumia Ghanaians didn’t see heaven and Kennedy Agyapong expects heaven in 3 months.
Another netizen also wrote, “What has changed cos you are the last person to say this Hon. we were in this country a year ago from your own mouth when you told us “the way @NPP_GH is looting Ghana as if there is no tomorrow or you have formed a new political party”.
Kennedy Agyapong noted in just these first three months of the John Mahama government, Ghanaians should look around as this is only the beginning.
The former lawmaker also quizzed Ghanaians to imagine what four years under the NDC government will bring.
According to Kennedy Agyapong, Ghanaians should brace themselves draw strength from these trials, and rise above them.
Speaking at a TESCON event, which he shared on X, Kennedy Agyapong stated, “They promised you heaven… Is this the heaven we’re seeing in these first three months? Is this the heaven we are seeing in these three months? Even in the first three months, look at what is happening.
“So, you can imagine the challenges we are going to face. But it has happened. Let us fortify ourselves, brace ourselves for challenges, and we shall overcome,” he added.
Kennedy Agyapong further called on TESCON to lead the charge and take the message of the NPP from house to house.
“So, TESCON, I charge you today to lead the NPP’s campaign. Go from house to house, engage everyone you meet, and tell them the story of the NPP. And I know that with your efforts, we will be able to come back to power”, Kennedy Agyapong added.

Kusie you spent 8 years without any development and you were rather fighting with celebrities instead of fighting for your people and you’re here blaming a government that had spent only 3 months

Let any Tescon member meet me and try to preach good governance. We’ll end up at the Korle-bu teaching or the nearest police station. Anyone who supported and defended the past Gov has no moral right to preach about good governance.
