Some enraged Salaga youths have burned down billboards of member of parliament Salaga South Constituency Hon Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah.

According to the irate youths, Hon Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah has failed to develop the constituency since she assumed office.

The Salaga youths demonstrated against their Member of Parliament, Hon. Hajia Zuwera Mohammed Ibrahimah, by setting fire to campaign billboards featuring her image alongside that of President John Mahama, as well as burning donated chairs.

In a viral video shared by EDHUB, the youths were captured in red headbands without shirts burning the billboard and chairs.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have reacted to the news by saying, “ Lol in less than 3 months ?? Obviously someone is behind this, once young people refuse to look for jobs, the old men will use them for these things always”.

“We know what the NPP is trynna but just 3 months and you’ve started demanding huge. Citizens are more stupid than their government 😀”, another stated.

A user also suspected the NPP saying, “Npp sponsored thugs ,who in their right sense will do this …MMDCE’S are yet to be appointed, common fund hasn’t even been disbursed ….what at all is wrong with these people 😕”.

“If elections were held today they’ll still vote for the NDC.. the should shut up and wait for their share of the National cake”, one user also stated.

Furthermore, some irate National Democratic Congress (NDC) stormed and vandalised the party office in Banda over the controversy surrounding the DCE appointment.

In the viral video shared by Metro TV Ghana,  the irate youths were captured destroying the party office.

A narrated in the video was heard saying there is no longer NDC in Obuasi anymore. They stated they did not want Pat.

This follows President John Dramani Mahama naming a new batch of District Chief Executives (DCEs) for eight out of the 16 regions.
