Viral reports alleged that Opare-Ansah slapped Nana B for allowing former NPP presidential candidate aspirant Kennedy Agyapong to address the gathering at the NPP’s “Thank You Tour”.

According to Nana Boakye, the NPP’s focus remains on constructive efforts to strengthen the party by uniting the NPP and energizing its grassroots

Nana Boakye, in a post on Facebook, denied the allegation stating there’s no truth to any alleged altercation, including claims of physical confrontation to the extent of Hon Opare Ansah slapping me.

He wrote, “My attention has been drawn to online fabrications and media reports suggesting a confrontation between Hon. Opare Ansah and myself.

I categorically state that these claims are baseless and entirely false. There’s no truth to any alleged altercation, including claims of physical confrontation to the extent of Hon Opare Ansah slapping me”.

He added, “ Hon Opare Ansah is a respected individual known for his gentle nature and would not conduct himself in such a manner.

As a matter of fact, our focus remains on constructive efforts to strengthen our party.

We are currently engaged in a thank-you tour across the country aimed at uniting the NPP and energizing its grassroots and at the same time making preparations towards our upcoming “SAVE THE JUDICIARY” demonstration taking place in Accra on the 5th of May, 2025”.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have commented on Nana B’s post saying, “Since you are explaining, kindly explain the video showing you and Ken were discussing in the video”.

“So you did not take a slap or he miss.. Please go back let him try again”, another wrote.

“Masa masa I was there and you were slapped! If not Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong and other snr members of the party anka we didn’t hear good news from the Thank you tour!! You are doing this sake of party interest but please don’t be allowed to be slapped like that again! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 That slapp nearly landed you to death!!”, one more Facebook user stated.

Additionally, another Ghanaian wrote, “ I personally don’t believe you people, you can lie about anything. About the demonstration, you can do it every day until 2028, after the 2028 election you can continue demonstrating cuz you’ll keep very long in opposition”.
