He alleged that the National Democratic Congress forbearers supervised the kidnapping and murder of three High Court judges.

Speaking on Peace FM on Thursday, April 24, 2025, Miracles Aboagye stated, “Do you recall that these are the same people whose forbearers supervised the kidnapping and murder of three High Court judges? These are the same group of people. To this day, we haven’t uncovered the full truth behind those events.

In fact, some members of the current NDC government and party were alive then. Some of them were even members of that regime. That incident was gruesome. No petition was written for anyone’s removal, they just vanished into thin air”.

“So, I think the Chief Justice is fortunate that a gun wasn’t pointed to her head to remove her and that she is still alive”, he shockingly added.

He further told President John Dramani Mahama he could remove all Supreme Court Judges and appoint his wife Lordina Mahama and other NDC bigwigs.

According to Dennis Miracles Aboagye, maybe doing that will make the NDC satisfied with the work of the Judiciary.

He stated, “When this issue started, I was eager to hear their (NDC’s) justification for what they were doing.

I listened to my senior man, and I realized that perhaps we should stop discussing this matter. If they want, they can remove all the Supreme Court judges and appoint Lordina Mahama, Kwamena Ahwoi, and all the NDC bigwigs as Supreme Court judges. Maybe that will satisfy them”.

His comment comes after President Mahama suspended the Chief Justice following a prima facie case being determined against her by the Council of State.

Meanwhile, Sammy Gyamfi, the Communications Officer of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Chief Executive Officer of GoldBoard has revealed his sources have informed him that 30 out of the 31 Council of State members support prima facie cases against the suspended Chief Justice Her Ladyship Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.

According to Sammy Gyamfi, nobody can tell him that all the 30 members of the Council of State are NDC members who hate the Chief Justice.

Speaking on JOY FM, Sammy Gyamfi stated, “From my sources, 30 out of the 31 said that there is a prima facie case to be determined and that the nature of the allegations made against the Chief Justice justify her suspension pending the outcome of the investigation”.

Additionally, Vincent Ekow Assafuah, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Old Tafo has filed a motion at the Supreme Court to halt the suspension of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkonoo.

The member of parliament is seeking the Supreme Court to halt the suspension of the Chief Justice over claims President Mahama had violated due process.
