The 2024 Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is set to embark on a nationwide Thank You Tour starting Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the party’s headquarters, Accra.
The tour, approved by the National Council of the party, aims to express appreciation to supporters and the general public for their unwavering commitment throughout the 2024 electoral process.
The post-election tour, themed “In All Things, Give Thanks to God” (1 Thessalonians 5:18), will feature interfaith thanksgiving services incorporating both Christian and Islamic prayers, reflecting the party’s intent to foster unity and national reflection.
The tour will begin in the Western Region on Saturday, April 26 and cover all 16 regions of Ghana, concluding in the Central Region on June 4.
Dr. Bawumia will be accompanied by national party executives, campaign team members, and key stakeholders throughout the journey.
In a statement released and signed by National Organizer Henry Nana Boakye on Monday, April 21, 2025, he urged all party faithful and supporters to actively engage in the tour events in their respective regions, emphasizing that the exercise is a moment to honour the dedication and sacrifices that led the party through the electoral period.
