Sam Pee Yalley a renowned Ghanaian diplomat and a former High Commissioner of Ghana to India, has died.
The Deputy National Communications Officer, of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Malik Basintale, in a Facebook post on Sunday, April 6, 2025, made this known.
The late Sam Pee Yalley was an experienced lawyer and determined of the ruling National Democratic Congress.
He served as a Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the National Pensions Regulatory Authority and was also appointed Ghana’s Ambassador to India by President John Dramani Mahama in 2014 during his first administration.
The late Sam Pee Yalley advocated Ghana’s interests abroad and promoted strong diplomatic ties with India.
Sam Pee Yalley was known for his activism, particularly in promoting female leadership in Ghana.
It is yet to be known the cause of his sudden demise.
Malik Basintale in his post stated, “Amb Sam Pee Yalley. You were a good man! We shall meet again someday, H.E., as I always called you,” the NDC deputy communications director, who is also the Managing Director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), wrote with a crying emoji.
