Four persons who were detained by the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) over 89.74 kilograms of suspected cocaine bound for the Netherlands have been remanded.
The four freight forwarders have been identified as Gariba Soli, an artefact dealer at the art centre, Josiah Baidoo, Emmanuel Mintah and Kwabena Ampfo Anti.
They were arrested over attempts to export 73 slabs of cocaine.
The four freight forwarders have been charged with counts of attempting to export a narcotic substance without a license, conspiracy and possession of a narcotic substance without a license.
According to reports, the large consignment of suspected cocaine was intercepted at the Swiss Port in Tema.
