He also opened up about his personal life, disclosing that he’s currently single following a recent divorce.

Speaking in an interview with Bola Ray, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye revealed, “I wash as many as about 5000 dishes a day”.

He further touched on his private jet and his divorce, saying, “My private jet is for myself and my mom. I left the market very early, but I am back on the market I am divorced”.

He further added he has a Bugatti Chiron Sports.

Reacting to Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s comments the netizen wrote, “So no rich man had solid support when starting business in Ghana?. What’s this obsession with starting as having nothing?. Oh daabi 😂😂😂😂”.

Another sarcastically stated he believed his story, “I believe him. Me seff I have started washing 7000 dishes. One day I will buy a Tesla Cybertruck 🙏for myself and mummy”

A netizen also revealed he watched the interview and his story did not add up, “Watched his interview yesterday and asked myself many questions. He said he made his first million dollars at 27 but at 22 he left Ghana to the UK after saving from selling alcohol in his slum. At 23, he came back to Ghana and started quick credit at 24 on a table top”.

Similarly, another defended his story saying, “Some of u here won’t believe this story but is mostly real, he travelled abroad at early stage to school, he was working in addition, washing plates, had some money, came to Ghana and started his loan lending business. We forget the more u invest, the more ur wealth expands”.

Meanwhile, Richard Nii-Armah Quaye made headlines after acquiring for himself a branded private jet and a luxurious Bugatti Chiron as part of his 40th birthday celebrations.

The businessman, who will turn 40 on March 21, 2025, took to Instagram to share the news, “…and I got myself a jet too #RNAQ40.”

The purchase of the jet came just hours after news broke of the Bills CEO obtaining a Bugatti Chiron, which was cleared from Tema Port.

Bugatti Chiron is one of the most expensive and exclusive vehicles in the world, priced between $3 million and $4 million.

This has since sparked reactions from fans and celebrities alike.

This statement of his, “He is back in the market; I am the horse!” probably, meant, it was over for those who live a luxury lifestyle. He is the game. Hight tension.😂😂

Well, depends on where you wash the dishes. If you’re washing 10 million dishes at Sister Ama Chop Bar, your journey is long
