Prophet Dr. Kofi Oduro, Founder and Leader of Alabaster International Ministries has fired shots at the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB) Kwabena Adu-Boahene.
According to Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro, if it is true Kwabena Adu-Boahene and his wife stole from Ghana they are wicked.
The man of God asserted that how can one person and the wife look in the faces of Ghanaians, a country struggling and steal $7 million and build about 30 properties?
Speaking to his congregants, Prophet Dr Kofi Oduro lamented, “How can one person look in the faces of Ghanaians and take $ 7 million, one person and the wife $ 7 million what are you using it for? The people who are stealing Ghana’s money are people on the pulpit. One person can buy about 30 properties, they are worse than the politicians.
These monies what are you going to do with it, this is not somebody you cannot say does not know about the word of God. He knows all the quotations; he is a preacher. If it is true they are wicked men in suits”, he stated.
“They can quote scriptures in parliament and later steal from Ghanaians, they are playing with God, one person 7 million then they will be in church singing I am a friend of God”, the man of God cried out.
The man of God comment follows the Attorney General making a series of revelations into his investigation so far.
The AG fingered the former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB) Kwabena Adu-Boahene for allegedly diverting over $7m into private accounts.
According to the Attorney General, Kwabena Adu-Boahene was arrested for financial misconduct relating to a $7 million cyber defence system contract.
The Attorney General further revealed Kwabena Adu-Boahene laundered state funds through real estate investments in Accra and abroad.
Dr Ayine disclosed, “In his capacity as Director of the National Signals Bureau, Mr Adu-Boahene on January 30, 2020, signed a contract on behalf of the government of Ghana and the National Security on one hand and the other hand, an Israeli company named RLC Holdings Limited.
The contract was for the purchase of a cyber defence system software at a price of $7 million.”
“On February 6, 2020, he then transferred an initial amount of GH¢27,100,000 from the National Signals Bureau account at Fidelity Bank to a private BNC account at UMB.
Official documentation on the transfer reveals that the amount was for the payment of cyber defence system software. He transferred the money to his private company”, he added.
The Attorney General further added that Adu-Boahene and his wife purchased several landed properties in Ghana and abroad over the time that these monies hit their private accounts.
