A video has surfaced on social media of Ghanaian media personality, Kofi Adoma Nwanwani the host and CEO of KOFI TV and Radio first public appearance following the tragic incident that resulted in severe injuries to his eye.
In the viral video that has surfaced, Kofi Adomah narrated the whole ordeal and the pain he is now experiencing due to the gunshot wound to the eye.
In the video Kofi Adomah stated, “My headaches, as I am speaking right now my head is aching, but I wish to talk because I don’t know what will happen, at least If I can speak before whatever happens occurs at least I have spoken”.
“Some people claim it was just a powder that poured on my eye, some said it was not like that when I heard some I screamed”, he added.
According to reports Kofi Adomah held a press briefing, at his residence in Oyarifa, Accra, and addressed issues surrounding the incident, clarified details, and provided updates on his situation.
It will be recalled reports emerged some months ago that Kofi Adoma was seriously injured after being shot in the eye.
A video of how Kofi Adoma was shot subsequently emerged on social media when he was captured taking videos of the Kwafie Festival in Dormaa Ahenkro when he was shot by a traditional gunman at close range in the face.
Meanwhile, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), Vincent Opare, has dispelled rumours about the group not supporting their ace broadcaster Kofi Adomah after he suffered an eye injury earlier this year.
In an interview on Angel FM, Vincent Opare addressed claims in the media space that the Angel Broadcasting Network and the CEO of Angel Group of Companies, Dr. Kwaku Oteng, only contributed a mere GHS 10,000 to support the treatment of Kofi Adomah.
He revealed that that ABN and Dr. Kwaku Oteng gave over $47,000 to Kofi Adomah to support his treatment in Dubai.
He gave a breakdown of the amount saying, “ABN and Dr. Kwaku Oteng provided Kofi Adomah with GHS 110,000 for his initial screening and an additional $40,000 to proceed with the surgery.”
