In a shocking turn of events, a dead Ghanaian coconut seller has been buried in a bizarre tradition.
In a video which has gained notoriety on social media, the dead coconut seller was laid to rest with him standing and a coconut fruit placed on his head.
His colleagues present at the funeral also draped around his neck coconut branches.
What made the scene more worrying was when his colleague coconut sellers began cracking up the coconut and pouring its content on the deceased’s head and his face. Some event poured some of the coconut water into his mouth.
This act has garnered a lot of comments on social media, with many questioning the rationale behind this action.
