Ghanaian Comedian, Funny Face has said he said the love and support from Ghanaians keep him going.
According to Funny Face, he has been through a lot mentally but the support and love people show him makes him fight back.
He further advised Ghanaians to take their mental health seriously and also not to bottle their problems up.
Speaking to the media, Funny Face stated, “The secret is that I just don’t know, but I will give God the glory, and I say shout out to Ghanaians for still believing in me. I have gone and come back but they still give the love and support that is what is keeping me.
You know when people go through this mental health struggle, it is the love people show to them, that makes them fight back, some people have gone through it they were not able to come back because they did not get the love”.
He further advises people to take care of their mental health, “I thank Ghanaians they have support and love for me, and I will advise people to take care of their mental health it is very important and they must say no to drugs, when I went for treatment I smoked it is not good at all it didn’t help me when you go through that challenges and you still smoke weed.
Stay away from drugs and they should not bottle things in them, when you are going through something talk to somebody, that is what happened to me, I didn’t talk to, the broken heart I know you will go to that question, I am a living testimony of broken heart it has finished me”, he boldly stated.
It is widely known in Ghana that Funny Face had a fallout with the baby mama of his twin daughters, Vanessa.
Funny Face who never hid his love for his daughters shockingly out of the blue announced that a DNA test had proven he was not the father of his beloved twin daughters, pointing at Vanessa and accusing her of infidelity.
The aftermath of this accusation was a sight to behold as Vanessa and her family denied the claims, with Vanessa’s father even warning him about dragging their family name in the mud.
Funny Face has made a sharp U-turn to apologise to Vanessa and her family, indicating that the DNA test saying he was not the father of the twins was a forgery.
Funny Face also requested a reunion with the family, emphasizing the importance of getting back with his daughters.
The comedian is of the view his worsening mental health is because of his family being away from him.
Meanwhile, Ambassador Dr Bishop Samuel Owusu leader of the Pottersville church some time ago noted that Comedian Funny Face’s recent outburst on social media is due to the influence of weed-infused candy, popularly known as ‘weed-toffee’.
Speaking to his congregation he explained that the ’weed toffee’ was given to Funny Face by his friend and he stated that the comedian’s mental breakdown started after he ate it which he has not recovered in over five years.
