The information gathered suggests three Nigerians have been arrested by FBI agents in Ghana in Ghana.
According to the information gathered the three Nigerians were arrested for kidnapping an 80-year-old American woman.
Ghana media personality Afia Pokuaa commonly known as Vim Lady revealed the Nigerians after kidnapping the woman demanded $150,000 from her family as ransom.
Afia Pokuaa in a self-recorded video narrated the whole kidnapping incident, “Three Nigerians have been arrested by an FBI agent working in Ghana, and they have been charged with kidnapping an 80-year-old American woman stealing 15,800 plus from her ATM card and demanding $150,000 from her family as ransom before she is released.
The court has granted them bail each 5 billion each with two sureties, the case has now been adjourned to March”.
According to Afia Pokua who narrated the story this is a very sad story, as some decent Nigerians are working hard to promote the beautiful relationship between Nigeria and Ghana some Nigerians are also trying to destroy the reputation of Nigerians in Ghana.
Afia Pokua narrated further, “The main architect is one Emmanuel Adebayor, 28 years posing as a movie manager in Ghana and luring this American woman to Ghana so that they work together.
The woman came to Ghana, and was taken to a Hotel in the Eastern region and later taken to a hotel in East Legon, and ended up in Tema community 11. Where the lady was given to a Nigerian named Esther, the woman was held captive in the room at Tema Community 11 and that was when they started demanding $150,000 from her family as ransom”, she added.
Afia Pokua further revealed the 80-year-old phones were also taken and sold by the kidnappers at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle and her ATM card was used for withdrawals.
She continued, “The prosecutor in the case, Daniel Danku told the court the FBI agent in Ghana reported the case to them, because she was an American citizen, so the FBI will be concerned about his whereabouts.
Once the case was reported to them the police decided to move into action, by investigating the issue, they found out an American citizen Diana Nelson was kidnapped by these unknown men at the time the police did not know the names of these young men”.
The media personality further added that the Ghana Police traced the ATM which was used for withdrawals and arrested Adebayor leading the police to the house at Tema Community 11 where the woman was held.
She revealed that one guy called Poromo is at large, with the Esther lady claiming she was not part of the kidnapping. Esther has since been charged with abetment of crime for supporting the two in committing the kidnapping.
According to Afia Pokua the Ghana Police Service managed to retrieve two of the stolen phones which were sold at Circle and are looking to recover the Apple phone which was also sold.
Afia Pokua revealed Esther and Adebayor have pleaded not guilty in court.
She cautioned Ghanaians to be careful when dealing with Americans as the FBI has an office at the American Embassy in Ghana which tracks every movement working with EOCO and Ghana Police Service.
