Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Pizzaman Chickenman, Chris Boakye Yiadom, has disclosed how he met with businessman Richard Nii-Armah Quaye’s and his decision to eventually investment in his business.
He revealed that a single phone call led to a partnership that has established Pizzaman Chickenman as one of the leading fast food chains in the country.
“And to date, it has been the most important call of our lives. We got to Quick Angels, where we encountered Mr Quaye. I don’t call him Mr Quaye, I call him ‘bossu’, and it’s not just about the money.”
He also credited the Bills CEO for his immense advise and guidance in his business journey.
“There is a vocabulary we use amongst ourselves, we call it business sense. Whenever you interact with Mr Quaye, you leave and feel like you have all the sense in the world. And when you get into contact with him again, you will see that you are foolish and need more sense.”
Since its inception, Pizzaman Chickenman has expanded rapidly, now boasting over 25 branches nationwide. The company has also emerged as a significant employer, providing jobs for over 2,000 young people.
“Imagine we had 10 of Mr Quaye—it would mean over 20,000 Ghanaians would be gainfully employed.”
He also claimed that Pizzaman Chickenman is the highest-paying restaurant chain in Ghana, underscoring its impact on the country’s hospitality sector.
The Chickenman CEO was making these comments at the RNAQ40, the birthday party of Richard Nii Armah Quaye. To honour the business man, Chickenman CEO gifted him a fleet of three cars, including a Lexus and a Mercedes.
