He wrote on X, “Last week, the news of a woman biting a customer’s testicles over 20 pesewas was greeted with laughter on social media platforms. If a man had bitten a woman’s breasts, there would have been an outrage”.

He further added that he had seen two harrowing videos of Ghanaian men being physically abused by their women abroad.

The investigative journalist noted that in Ghanaian culture, men who are abused by women get mocked when it goes public so they remain silent.

“I have just seen two harrowing videos of Ghanaian men being physically abused by their women abroad. In our culture, men who are abused by women get mocked when it goes public, so most of them prefer to suffer silently”, he added.

Manasseh Azure Awuni further stated boldly, “Physical abuse is wrong, irrespective of gender. Let’s stop making fun of victims”.
