A video has surfaced on social media claiming to be of Daniel Asiedu commonly known as Sexy Dondon the suspect killer of the late JB Danquah.
According to the alleged video, Daniel Asiedu was contracted by Akufo-Addo through Ken Agyapong and one Mr Ofori.
He claimed that the former lawmaker Kennedy Agyapong was at the meeting spot when they contracted him.
Speaking in a claimed video, Daniel Asiedu narrated, “On February 5 at Madina, I was there and Allotey an informant at the James Town clubhouse, normally gives us work, he sometimes gives us guns and other stuff to go and steal.
I was there on the 5th of February in 2015 when he called me that work had come, and if I force him to do it he would be comfortable and I would also be comfortable and whatever amount I wanted would be given to me, so I was very happy”, he added.
He continued, “So I sat in his car to go and meet someone in Adenta, and when we got there I met, two big men they greeted me and I also greeted them, they asked for my name and I told them I was called Daniel Asiedu, they made me sit and they mentioned their names to me.
One was in Fungu, who claimed he was Kennedy Agyapong, and one stated he was Mr Ofori, they asked me if I knew the reason for coming and I informed them that Allotey had informed me, they further asked me if I was ready to do it.
They later told me that Nana Addo Dankwah was the one who contracted them but he was busy campaigning so they brought it on his behalf”, he emphasized boldly.
Meanwhile, Daniel Asiedu has been accused of killing former Abuakwa North MP JB Danquah.
The case dates back to 2016 when Asiedu was arrested in connection with the murder of the late MP.
Prosecutors allege that Asiedu robbed and fatally stabbed JB Danquah at his residence.
After undergoing psychiatric evaluation and being declared fit for trial, Asiedu’s plea was taken in February 2021, and the trial began the same year.
A seven-jury delivered a split decision of 4:3 not guilty, prompting the presiding judge, Justice Lydia Osei Marfo, to discharge the jury in accordance with Section 285(4) of the Criminal and Other Offenses (Procedure) Act, 1960 (Act 30).
The court determined the verdict was inconclusive and insufficient for further action.
The retrial is expected to address lingering questions surrounding the case and seek a conclusive resolution to the high-profile murder trial.

People will be watching it and think it is bad press it is a divine stir-up towards something. Bryan Acheampong will not be for 2028, but after 2028, he will be very strong”, he detailed.
