Ernest Owusu-Bempah, the deputy Communications Director of the New Patriotic Party has boldly stated that no NPP member can become president without him in their corner.
According to Ernest Owusu-Bempah, he knows all the secrets of the country and that of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).
He further claimed he is only the youth in the NPP at the moment who can face the National Democratic Congress squarely.
Speaking in an interview on Asaasepa Radio, Ernest Owusu-Bempah stated, “I am the only youth in the NPP at the moment who can face the NDC squarely. Nobody in the NPP can confront the NDC better than I can. And I say this not out of arrogance. If anyone wants to be a presidential candidate in the NPP and I am not involved, they should forget it. I know all the secrets of this country.
I have been around former President Rawlings, who governed this country for 19 years. I have been around President Akufo-Addo, and I have been around former President J.A. Kufuor. I know what I am talking about”.
He continued, “I know the secrets of this country. I know the NDC’s secrets. What is the point of fighting an enemy if you do not know their strengths and weaknesses?”
“I once presented a petition to President Mahama at his residence, and the entire NDC rank and file became jittery. If any other youth in the NDC had petitioned Mahama, it would not have carried such weight”.
That should tell you that I know how to hit the nerves of the NDC. I know everything about them—their strengths and weaknesses”, Owusu-Bempah added.
Meanwhile, Ernest Owusu Bempah in an old interview revealed he was sidelined during the NPP’s 2024 election campaign.
He noted that the NPP members thought they could win the 2024 elections by just bantering with the NDC communication officer Sammy Gyamfi.
Speaking to Vim Lady, Ernest Owusu Bempah detailed, “Somebody like me, I get up in the morning, adopt a strategy to save a whole political party from a whole mess, when the economy is bashing the whole government, I am saying this on records, the economy Ghanaians were saying they were hungry, no one was listening to what we were saying”.
“I went to bring the Airbus Scandal, strategically I was in my room, and I brought the Airbus Scandal, I am just trying to tell you that strategy is very key, in politics, then the whole NDC machinery is after me”, he added.
The NPP man further added, “Only one person do you think, why do you think they are always thinking about me, as a political party you need to be strategic, then you will be doing campaign elections and you claim it is all about bantering Sammy Gyamfi on the radio and TV will win you an election you will be making a terrible mistake”.
