“Let us even take the Akan-dominated area, the Ashanti Region, Central Region, Western Region, Western North, Eastern Region, Bono Region, Ahafo Region, and Bono East, let us look at the number of votes John Mahama got there and let us see what without them can John Mahama become President”, he added.

Okatakyie Afrifa Mensah added, “Now you are sharing appointments you have based on your stronghold, which is the five northern regions and the Volta Region are they the only people who made you President?

As we speak most many of their party people have been left with nothing, you have not seen anything yet, when we were going to vote and I stated this, you fought with me, now you are being abandoned you are calling me what should I do for you”, he revealed.

Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama has finally named all Regional and Sector Ministers to lead various regions and ministries under the National Democratic Congress (NDC) administration.

His nomination has been made up of representations from all parts of the region, making it a wholesome one.

In his nominations, the Volta and Northern Region have the most nominations, with both regions having four (4) people each being nominated as Regional and Sector ministers.

Bono East, Eastern, Greater Accra, Ashanti, Central and the Western Regions follow with three (2) nominations each.

The remaining eight (8) regions have all had two (2) people being nominated to serve in various ministerial capacities in the John Dramani Mahama administration.

Currently, these nominees have all been vetted and approved by the Appointments Committee.

Meanwhile, John Mahama’s deputy ministerial have just been vetted, awaiting their approval by parliament and swearing into office by John Mahama.
