Minority Leader of Ghana’s Parliament, Alexander Afenyo-Markin has suffered a full-fledged embarrassment at the hands of Member of Parliament (MP) for Ellembelle Constituency, Emmanuel Armah-Kofi Buah.
In a heated argument in Parliament, Kofi Buah lashed at Afenyo-Markin and even rubbed it in his face that he (Afenyo-Markin) has never been even a Deputy Minister in the history of Ghana.
Although what Afenyo-Markin said to Kofi Buah is yet to be established, Kofi Buah in response to Afenyo-Markin’s comment, Kofi Buah expressed anger over the fact that he was called a coward.
“The Honorable Afenyo-Markin will have the courage to tell me Honorable, Kofi Buah, a 4th term Member of Parliament (MP) who has worked 20 years in the corporate world, who has served as deputy minister, properly vetted. Served as a minister of state that I don’t have the courage?”
“I am a courageous man and that’s why I have served this country honorably. Have you (Afenyo-Markin) even been a deputy minister in this country since I have been here, you?” he questioned Afenyo-Markin.
The comment of Kofi Buah has generated some comments and reactions across social media, with many jumping to the defense of Afenyo-Markin, while others supported Kofi Buah.
