Yakubu-Tali resigns as ADB MD

The Managing Director of Agricultural Development Bank PLC, Mr. Alhassan Yakubu-Tali, has tendered in his resignation from the bank.

He resigned after a new Managing Director was nominated by the bank’s majority shareholder.

Alhassan Yakubu-Tali who assumed the role on December 1, 2022, after having served as Deputy Managing Director from August 2017 to November 2022.

During his tenure, he led a two-year corporate strategy that significantly improved the bank’s capital and asset base.

In a statement issued on February 6, 2025, ADB acknowledged his contributions to the bank’s growth.

The Board, Management, and Staff expressed their appreciation for his leadership and wished him success in his future endeavors.
