A netizen has quizzed why the Parliament of Ghana has become this useless.
According to the netizen identified as Austine Woode, Abu Jinapor used a piece of fake news to attack another MP when it was easily verified.
The netizen wrote, “ Why is Abu Jinapor using fake news to attack another MP when it is easily verifiable? Why has Parliament of Ghana become this useless? I’m sad 🤦”.
Samuel Abu Jinapor the Member of Parliament for Damongo yesterday attacked Sam Nartey George for watching porn on the floor of parliament.
Meanwhile, the communication minister Sam George has boldly declared the days of misinformation and cheap fabricated lies are coming to an end.
According to Sam George, the Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations Ministry would tighten regulations on such illegal conduct of misinformation and disinformation.
The incoming communication minister wrote on X, “I can assure them that the days of misinformation and cheap fabricated lies are coming to an end. The Ministry would tighten regulations on such illegal conducts of misinformation and disinformation in the coming weeks and sanitise our media space”.
