The New Patriotic Party(NPP) member of parliament for Weija Gbawe Jerry Ahmad Shaib caught feelings for the minister for the Environment Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed during his vetting.
Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed appearing before the vetting committee came along with his wife.
Jerry Ahmad Shaib when it got his turn to ask the minister questions rather spotted his wife behind him.
The NPP First time MP stated, “Honourable Murtala, you have a very pretty wife, Mr Chair this is an observation before the question”.
The other NPP MPs on the appointment committee vetting warned him to be careful and what he was saying was Haram.
Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed thanked Jerry Ahmad Shaib for his compliment to his wife.
Meanwhile, the Weija Gbawe member of parliament was captured as one of the MPs to have started the ‘violence’ in parliament when he tried to turn over the tables used during the vetting procedures.
He has subsequently been suspended by the Parliament Alban Bagbin together with three others.
The Majority Chief Whip Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor and the minority chief whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, and Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli.
