A netizen has fired shots at the Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Lawyer Vincent Ekow Assafuah.
According to the netizen, Vincent Ekow Assafuah is becoming a dishonourable member of parliament.
He called on the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin to call Member of Parliament for Old Tafo, Lawyer Vincent Ekow Assafuah to order.
The netizen identified as Arthur Tawiah Emmanuel stated that Ekow Assafuah is uncultured and unethical.
He asserted that the member of parliament must be called to order for using such unparliamentary words on your high office and his colleague members of parliament.
His comments come as Vincent Ekow Assafuah described parliament saying, “Parliament is becoming a secondary school where headmaster can summarily dismiss a student a student without due process”.
The netizen wrote on X, “ Dear Hon Alban S.K. Bagbin, Call this uncultured and unethical member of parliament to order. He must be punished for using such unparliamentary words on your high office and his colleague members of parliament. Vincent Ekow Assafuah is gradually becoming a dishonourable MP”.
Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament has suspended four members of parliament following Thursday’s ministerial vetting chaos.
The suspended MPs include the Majority Chief whip Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor and the minority chief whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli and Jerry Ahmed Shaib.
Meanwhile, the minority caucus in Parliament has rejected the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin’s decision to suspend three members of their MPs.
