Upper East Regional Minister, Akamuguri Atanga Donatus was received amidst pomp and pageantry in Bolgatanga on his return from the nation’s capital, Accra.
Akamuguri Atanga Donatus faced the Appointments Committee on Monday, January 27, 2025 where he promised to bring lasting peace to Bawku.
After a successful vetting, the Minister-designate was warmly welcomed back home by his supporters.
In a video shared on X, , Akamuguri Atanga Donatus can be seen standing through the sunroof of his car while dancing to the drums being beaten for him.
Akamuguri Atanga Donatus who was in an all-white kaftan was seen waving the Ghana flag and throwing cash into the crowd.
Akamuguri Atanga Donatus holds a Masters Degree in Human Rights and a Bachelor of Education Degree in Social Studies and Mathematics from the University of Education-Winneba.
He previously served as Coordinator of the National School Feeding Programme and Presiding Member of the Bongo District Assembly.
