A video of two young boys dangerously crossing a makeshift bridge, in an attempt to get home from school at Asamankese Asuokaw has surfaced on social media.
The video has sparked outrage among concerned individuals.
In the viral video shared by SIKAOFFICIAL, the pupil was captured risking their lives to cross a water body to access education.

Meanwhile, President John Mahama has assured residents of Asuokow in the Eastern Region that immediate steps were being taken to provide a lasting solution.
President Mahama in a Facebook stated.“Earlier today, the MP for Lower West Akim, Owen Kwame Frimpong, visited the Asuokow community and assured them the Eastern Regional Minister will also visit, as we work to permanently and urgently resolve the challenge the people and the school children are confronted with”.
“Our quest to Reset Ghana includes a determination to remove barriers to education and healthcare across the country,” he stated.
