A young man has found himself in the grips of the law, after allegedly smashing the windscreen of a Mercedes Benz vehicle.

According to reports the incident happened at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle in Accra.

Reports suggest the incident follows an alleged carelessness by the driver in the luxury vehicle which resulted in a young man smashing the Mercedes Benz vehicle windscreen with his hands.

The young has now found himself in the grips of the law and was swiftly picked up by the police for smashing the Benz vehicle.

In the video shared on X by SIKAOFFICIAL, the damaged Mercedes Benz vehicle was surrounded by some persons at circle with the windscreen.

A voice could be heard in the video saying, if someone has hit you carelessly, should you go and hit the glass with your hand, look at the car, if someone hit you carelessly do you go and destroy the windscreen with your hand, take him away. Take him away ”.

Meanwhile, some Ghanaians have shared their thoughts under the post, “ Dem no arrest am anka he go vanish kwraaa 😂As dem gather like this seff you got watch yourself else dem kwashey you there norrr. 😁”

“It’s a sad thing in Ghana that a driver of a luxurious vehicle can carelessly put your life in danger and that’s no crime than you reacting to it.

No, they expect you to keep silent while they run over you. He is proud to say he was careless. Should he not be arrested as well?”, another added.

One user also wrote, “He figa he be gangster. He pay finish he go calm down.. the fooling be too much for this country”.

According to another X user, a similar incident happened to him in Accra at the AMA entrance, he wrote, “ The same thing happened to me at Accra, the traffic light that leads you to A.M.A entrance… Police came to the scene and asked us to move the car and follow him to the police station around the central police station…I got there and the policeman and the driver were nowhere to be found.

I went back to the ministries police station to report the issue, and they told me l shouldn’t worry and they would watch the street Camara and help me … truly the guy found the car and called me to the police station and asked me how much l spent on the car”, he stated.
