Member of Parliament for Damongo, Samuel Abu Jinapor has advised his colleagues in the Minority Caucus to use Sam George as a precautionary tell for their actions as the opposition.
He urged them to be very careful of their utterances as opposition members as what they say now can have dire consequences on their futures.
“On the matter of communication. What has happened to some of our colleagues is just a matter of standards. Let us all be careful when you’re in opposition. When you leave in glass houses don’t throw stones. It is a wise saying,” he stated.
Describing Sam George as a friend before delivering the fatal blow, Abu Jinapor said, “Today my friend Sam George who is popularly sometimes referred to as Dzata. Mr. Speaker the Dzata and lion today himself is now in the pocket of his wife.”
An old video of Sam Nartey George, the Minister for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation has resurfaced. In the 2022 video, Sam George is heard saying his wife is a stay-at-home mother.
He also in an earlier post claimed real men take care of their wives.
However, during his vetting as Communication Minister-designate in 2025, Sam George when questioned about his source of funding for his UK study program surprisingly stated, “Mr. Chairman I am married to a very industrious woman. I mean my wife takes care of me”.
