Kwabena Mintah Akandoh the Member of Parliament for Juaboso and Minister of Health has revealed what his children told him when he got home after the vetting chaos.
Appearing before the investigative committee probing the vetting chaos the health minister stated, “ When I got home, my children said Daddy we saw you, you were fanning yourself and others were fighting”.
Mintah Akandoh further added, “Both sides of the committee assured me that I was going to be vetted that day.
Immediately after the Minister nominee for Transport was vetted, I took my seat, and the chairman instructed that the oath be administered. That was when I saw Minority members protesting, saying they wouldn’t agree. That was where everything started”.
Kwabena Mintah Akandoh revealed that the unexpected disruption left him bothered, as he had made provisions for his guests at his personal cost.
“I was very disappointed because I had to make room for my guests, including paramount chiefs. There were quite a number of them, and the delay caused a lot of inconveniences and cost me a lot of money”, he added.
