He asserted that those who have a questionable certificate should do their homework before coming.

Speaking on Adom TV, Alexander Afenyo-Markin detailed, “Please don’t get it wrong, I look at their CV, so if you are coming prepare your CV very well, if you know you have a questionable certificate go and do your homework, because we are going to ask”.

“If you state you hold a first degree you must indicate from where, if you hold a master’s degree where did you get the masters from. Some even write dates, don’t you realise I even help them, sometimes I allow them to correct”, he added.

The minority leader further added that there is no friend in Lagos so they must prepare for the vetting on Monday.

“So far no one has come that I have sat in a class with, don’t create that impression, all I saying is that Monday obɔyɛ butubutu, we will hold them to account, we will ask you your CV, there is no friend in Lagos, Monday first set you should come prepared. The minority we are not going to spare them”, he reiterated.

Afenyo Markin during the vetting of the sectorial ministers as well as regional ministerial nominees made a name for himself by questioning some nominees for longer hours.
