Chief of Agric Nsema and Aspiring Council of State member, Nana Nkansah Boadu has fired shots at the Ashanti Regional Minister, Dr Frank Amoakohene.
According to Nana Nkansah Boadu, Dr Frank Amoakohene told him over his dead body would he be elected as a Council of State representative for the Ashanti Region.
The chief also alleged that the Ashanti Regional Minister boldly told him even the Asantehene could not tell him what to do.
Speaking in a phone interview on a radio station, Nana Nkansah Boadu claimed, “ That small boy (Dr Frank Amoakohene) who was chosen as a Minister told me that even the Otumfuo cannot tell him that I should be made a Council of State and that it would be over his dead body for me to be elected as a member of the Council of State.
I have a lot of witnesses who captured him, If he was not properly nurtured and is uncultured, he should go and beat his parents. If that is what he is going to do as a Regional Minister he should go and beat his parents for not raising him well, I am an NPP founding member if not for the Chief not being allowed to be engaged in politics I would be a founding member, I am NPP it is not today that I will deny by NPP”, he added.
Meanwhile, chaos erupted in the Ashanti Regional Council of State elections on Tuesday 11 February after heavily built men disrupted the voting process, destroying Electoral Commission (EC) materials and physically attacking some journalists.
