Step down – NPP’s Kofi Tonto tells yet-to-resign CEOs appointed by Akufo-Addo

A member of the communications team of the New Patriotic Party (NPP),  Kofi Tonto has stated all yet-to-resign Chief Executive Officers who were appointed by former President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to step down immediately.

Kofi Tonto noted that the CEOs who are still in post cannot campaign against the vision and ideas of President John Dramani Mahama and expect to be maintained as CEO.

According to Kofi Tonto, those CEOs must resign for those who believe in John Mahama’s ideas and vision.

Kofi Tonto in a Facebook post wrote, “ “You cannot campaign against the vision and ideas of Mahama and expect to be maintained as a CEO. Step down for those who believe in his ideas and vision”.

Kofi Tonto, a political aide to former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia comments come amidst the tussle at SIC in which the former SIC Insurance MD Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has run to court after refusing to hand over after she was booted out of office by President John Mahama.

According to reports Ms Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has declined to hand over her office to President John Dramani Mahama appointed acting SIC MD Mr Agyenim-Boateng leaving with the keys which has effectively prevented  Agyenim-Boateng from assuming his new role.

Reports have emerged that Hollistar Duah-Yentumi has filed an interlocutory injunction at the High Court, seeking to restrain Agyenim-Boateng from acting as the Managing Director.

Hollistar Duah-Yentumi legal team led by E.N. Poku Esq filed the motion to request an order preventing SIC Insurance from recognizing him in the role.
