A video in which Rev. Charlotte Oduro was urging couples to leave toxic relationships have surfaced online right after her husband announced their divorce.
In the video, she advised couples against holding unto toxic relationships hoping that things will change over time.
“Sometimes, you just have to end everything; sometimes, you need to open the door for some people to walk out of your life. Sometimes, you have to allow the people you love, trust, and are comfortable with, to walk out of your life,” she said.
According to her, continuously entertaining such a relationship will eventually lead to disaster.
“Because those people are the same ones who hurt you and will also comfort you. Some people act like they love you, but they’re in your camp, gathering information for your enemies.”
“Please, take the bold, make a decision, and remove them from your life. Lock your door against negativity and open it for good things to come,” she advised.
