The new Naa Gamu of the Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West has been reportedly shot dead by an unknown individual.

According to reports, the Nungua Gamu Queen was shot during the enskinment ceremony of the new Naa Gamu of the Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West.

The information gathered indicates, that she was rushed to the hospital after the incident but she sadly passed away.

The incident is said to have happened on Saturday, 22 February 2025 during her outdooring ceremony.

The Ga-Muslim community in Nungua West has been thrown into a state of mourning,

Some locals have indicated the shots were fired from nearby during the traditional ceremony.

Meanwhile, reports suggest the Nungua Police Station have initiated an investigation into the shooting incident.

The officers from the Nungua Police Station are looking for the culprits involved in the Nungua Gamu Queen shooting.
