SHOCKER: 36-year-old job seeker convicted for stealing smartphone at CHRAJ

A 36-year-old unemployed man has been convicted of stealing a smartphone.

The information gathered suggests Foster Nyarko stole a smartphone belonging to the Principal Administrator of CHRAJ.

Foster has been convicted of stealing a Samsung Galaxy A54 5G phone worth ₵4,999.

Nyarko who had visited the CHRAJ office to follow up on his job application in October last year.

Upon realizing the office was empty stole the Samsung Galaxy A54 5G phone.

It also came up in Court that the convict Nyarko was already on the Ghana Police Service wanted list.

A CCTV footage helped identify Nyarko, who pleaded guilty to two counts of unlawful entry and stealing.

He was convicted on his own plea when appeared in court on February 6.

Foster Nyarko’s sentence meanwhile, has been deferred to February 27, 2025.
