Kofi Tonto, a political aide to former Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has boldly stated Sam George the Minister-Designate for Communications, Digital Technology, and Innovation has admitted to criminality.
According to Kofi Tonto, Sam George admitted to criminality when he called party supporters to gather at the airport and borders to prevent some Ghanaians from travelling.
He asserted that should John Mahama not recall his appointment the minority should not approve him as minister.
Speaking on Peace FM, Kofi Tonto stated, “If John Mahama would not recall Sam George’s appointment, the minority we should put our legs on the ground we should not approve Sam George.
Sam George has admitted to criminality, that he engaged in a criminal act, one John Mahama must recall Sam George’s appointment, number two should Mahama not recall the appointment the minority must rise up and not approve Sam George’s appointment.
If they say they will not and the majority says they will they should go to the plenary but let the records show, that the minority did not participate in endorsing somebody who has admitted to criminality, let the records show”, he stated.
Kofi Tonto further added, “When I came here I did not just speak, I have given evidence that shows that what Sam George did affected our currency, affected our national security”.
