Samuel Nartey George, the Minister of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations has fired Mr Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Mafo the Director of Cyber Security at the National Communications Authority (NCA).
According to the statement issued, Mr Kwadwo Gyamfi Osafo-Mafo has been asked to hand over to the Acting Director General of the NCA.
In the letter the sacked NCA’s Director of Cyber Security will receive three months’ salary in place of notice.
His dismissal letter was signed by Chief Director of the Ministry Alexander Yaw Arphul and reads, “I wish to inform you that the Minister of Communications, Digital Technology and Innovations has terminated your appointment as the Director of Cyber Security of the National Communications Authority effective immediately.
“You are directed to hand over your duties to the Ag Director General of the National Communications Authority”.
“In line with paragraph 8 of your appointment letter, you will be given three months’ salary in lieu of notice.
“The honourable Minister extends his gratitude for your service to the nation.”
