Special aide to President Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari has revealed that the government’s ORAL preparatory team will submit their report to President John Dramani Mahama today, February 10, 2025.

Joyce Bawa in a post on social media shared the news with Ghanaians, she wrote, “ Today the government’s ORAL preparatory team will be submitting the report to the President of the Republic of Ghana”.

The ORAL  team WAS tasked with laying the groundwork for Mahama Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL).

The team includes Hon. Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa – Chairman, Mr. Daniel Domelevo – Former Auditor-General, COP (Rtd.) Nathaniel Kofi Boakye, Mr. Martin Kpebu – Private Legal Practitioner, and Mr. Raymond Archer – Investigative Journalist.

Meanwhile, Speaking during his ‘Thank You’ tour of the Central Region on Thursday, February 6, Mahama stated he would forward the report to the appropriate investigative bodies for action.

John Mahama stated, “So even as we investigate those who have just left office, and we carry out our operation to retrieve all the loot (ORAL) and we implement an operation to retrieve all the loot those who are current office bearers should also know that they will be held to the same standard as we are holding the past regime.

“Next week, the ORAL Committee that I set up, is going to present its reports to me and I will refer them to the investigative organization, to start their investigation against people who have misappropriated the resources of this nation”, he stated.

Mahama’s statements emphasize his view on good governance and his pledge to reinforce institutional supervision in the fight against corruption.
