According to Afenyo-Markin, Ghanaians keep hearing John Mahama reassigning persons already assigned to some State Institutions.

He asserted that this posture doesn’t give a good, signal to the investment community, and governance will require that there must be some certainty.

Speaking on the floor of parliament, Afenyo Markin stated, “Mr Speaker we heard of Honourable Bawa being appointed as the acting Chief Executive of GNPC, and he is been reassigned to GOIL, again we heard of Honourable Hanna Bissiw going to Common Fund, then now we hear Ismeal Yamson’s son is going there, GIPC we had Bernice Makafui being appointed there and then we hear now they have changed it.

Mr Speaker the President has just assumed office, it appears as though what is happening is Asiedu Nketiah fa baako, Julius Debrah fa baako, we devide it equally, wo fa baako, me yi baako, if someone is not happy I change the person”, he added.

The minority leader further added that President Mahama should not be sent into a lame-duck rather too quickly as he is just forming his government.

He added, “The president should not be sent into a lame-duck rather too quickly, the president is just forming his government, this posture doesn’t give a good, signal to the investment community, and governance will require that there must be some certainty because GIPC is a very important state agency”.

Meanwhile, there have been allegations that the National Chairman of the ruling National Democratic Congress Asiedu Nketiah is shockingly fighting President John Dramani Mahama over an appointment snub.

Johnson Asiedu Nketiah has however rejected claims made in the Chronicle newspaper suggesting he was fighting President John Dramani Mahama over an appointment snub.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, the Chronicle and Daily Guide fabricate stories when they don’t see you in public.
