President Mahama to receive the ORAL Committee’s report next week

President John Dramani Mahama has revealed he will receive the Operation Recover All Loots (ORAL) Committee’s report next week.

According to John Mahama, he will forward it to the appropriate investigative bodies for action.

The president further warned his appointees that they would be held to the same standard as the former Akufo-Addo appointees.

Speaking during his ‘Thank You’ tour of the Central Region on Thursday, February 6, Mahama stated, “So even as we investigate those who have just left office, and we carry out our operation to retrieve all the loot (ORAL) and we implement an operation to retrieve all the loot those who are current office bearers should also know that they will be held to the same standard as we are holding the past regime.

John Maham further added, “Next week, the ORAL Committee that I set up, is going to present its reports to me and I will refer them to the investigative organization, to start their investigation against people who have misappropriated the resources of this nation”.

Mahama’s statements emphasize his view on good governance and his pledge to reinforce institutional supervision in the fight against corruption.
