President John Dramani Mahama has named celebrated media personality and tourism advocate Abeiku Santana as the deputy CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
Abeiku Santana in his new role will work closely with the Executive Director, Maame Efua Houadjeto, to implement the government’s tactical plans for the tourism sector.
Abeiku Santana has dedicated over 23 years of his professional career to radio and television broadcasting, events, public relations and advertising, marketing communications, tourism management, and hospitality.
The media personality is known to have played a role in Ghana’s “Year of Return” and “Beyond the Return”.
The new deputy CEO of Ghana Tourism Authority holds a Master’s Degree in Tourism Management from the University of Cape Coast, Ghana, Master’s Degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana Business School, Accra, Ghana
Also a Chartered Media Practitioner (CMP) – at the Global Academy of Finance & Management (GAFM), a Master Project Management (MPM) – at the Global Academy of Finance & Management (GAFM), a Postgraduate Diploma in Public Administration – at Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), Accra, Ghana and also Associate in Litigation and Legal Studies – New York Paralegal School, USA.
