Member of Parliament (MP) for Gomoa Central, Kwame Asare Obeng (A Plus) is being trolled by critics that he “rushed to parliament for nothing.”
A Plus prior to entering parliament was highly vocal and quick to criticize the government on various policies, while sharing his views on various matters using traditional and new media platforms.
He was expected to take that firebrand to parliament but critics say he has been tamed ever since stepping foot in there.
Some of his critics claim A Plus cannot even express himself confidently on the floor of the House.
In a post made on X, one Acheampong Harry indicated that yes, A Plus can be a loud mouth on traditional and new media platforms but he become mute in parliament, becoming merely an observer.
His post read, “This guy rushed to parliament for nothing. He can’t confidently express himself in the English language. Chairman, parliament no bi UTV Showbiz.”
A Plus ever since stepping into parliament has been recorded making a submission in the house and even put an unidentified MP in his place when the MP tried to interrupt him during his submission.
