The Executive Director of the Good Governance Advocacy Group, Ghana, Listowel Nana Kusi Poku has accused President John Dramani Mahama of wanting to destroy Ghana by making certain appointments.
His comments come after President John Mahama appointed Dr Adam Bonaa, as the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons (NACSA).
According to Listowel Nana Kusi Poku, Adam Bona has been supplying guns to Bawku.
Listowel Nana Kusi Poku further claimed John Mahama has legitimized Dr Adam Bonaa’s trade being appointing him as the Acting Executive Secretary of the National Commission on Small Arms and Light Weapons (NACSA).
Speaking on Live TV, Listowel Nana Kusi Poku stated, “Mahama if he wants to destroy this country he should let us know, yes, the appointments John Mahama is making he wants to destroy the country”.
Listowel Nana Kusi Poku further questioned Adam Bonaa’s qualification as a Doctor.
He added, “Adam Bonaa who claims to be a Doctor, where did he get his doctorate from, where did he get his PhD, this is a man who was sacked from the UK for criminality, let ask the question what did he do at the Wa Secondary School during the six form regime in the 80s.
His father was a police, how can a son of a police become a security expert, which security school did he attend he claims to have a security title, and the media has been calling him on the radio and TV, even Listowel who saw a little bit of the military I am not called security expert, someone when a gun is placed before him he can not even tell how to disassemble and reassemble the gun”.
“He is part of the people supplying guns to Bawku and you have given Small Arms and Light Weapons to him, so you have legitimized his stock in trade”, he added.
The information gathered however suggests Adam Bonaa holds a doctorate with a concentration in security and immigration and has two decades of experience in counter-terrorism, defence, intelligence, and international relations.
