Oliver Barker-Vormawor, a Social activist, has sent a warning to the National Democratic Congress government.
According to Oliver Vormawor, if the NDC loses their Operation Recover All Loots fight, they lose the country.
He asserted that ORAL is a gold mine the NDC does Not Yet Fully Understand.
In a long write-up on social media platform X, Vormawor wrote, “I got the biggest endorsement for telling the NDC faithful that I would unleash venom on the NDC if they failed at ORAL. Also, at that moment, I knew something important: ORAL belongs to the NDC’s base”.
“And It belongs to the ordinary people of Ghana. Because ORAL is not just about holding the powerful accountable—it is about something even deeper, something more visceral”, he added.
Oliver Barker-Vormawor further stated it was ORAL that brought the late former president Jerry John Rawlings to power.
He added, “It was ORAL that brought Jerry Rawlings to power. ORAL is what made the NDC what it is today. It is the fire in the belly of the people who believed, once upon a time, that justice could be real, that power could belong to the people, and that corruption and greed could be chased into the shadows”.
“Lose ORAL, and you lose the country. The NDC must decide now whether it will reclaim the soul that made it a movement or whether it will drift into irrelevance, indistinguishable from those it once opposed”, Oliver stated.
Yesterday, February 10, 2025, the ORAL team submitted their final report to President John Mahama, who has since directed the Attorney General for further actions.
The chairman of Operation Recover All Loot (ORAL) and Foreign Affairs Minister Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, has revealed that with just 36 cases, Ghana can potentially recover $ 20.49 billion in stolen state resources.
Meanwhile, President John Dramani Mahama has boldly declared Ghana is no longer a safe haven for corruption.
According to John Mahama, those who think they can defraud the state and escape justice, Ghana is no longer a safe haven for them.

The Gold Mine the NDC Does Not Yet Fully Understand
1. I want to tell you a story about ORAL. But before ORAL, there was something else—something the NDC is yet to fully grasp, a gold mine it has stumbled upon but does not understand.
