A former Director General of the Ghana School of Law, Dr Kwaku Ansah Asare has stated that Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng is incompetent and be removed.
According to Dr Kwaku Ansah Asare, Ghanaians should encourage Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng over his nonsense after he engaged the media.
Dr Kwaku Ansah Asare noted that where was the OSP when Ghanaians were talking about the National Cathedral?
Dr Kwaku Ansah Asare was reacting to the declaration of former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta as a fugitive by the Office of the Special Prosecutor, he stated on TV3, “My brother, how many times didn’t Ghanaians talk about the Cathedral and the financial losses, how many times, where was the Special Prosecutor didn’t he have his ears put to the grounds?
When people were swimming in the National Cathedral where was he, when the newspapers and the media talked about the 58 million dollars where was he? This one is just one of the theoretical shows that another political party is trying to do against its opponent we should not encourage that kind of nonsense”, he added.
Dr Kwaku Ansah Asare further added, “He is incompetent, he can be removed on grounds of dereliction of duty, I am not going to waste my time on the stated grounds of the OSP law, we all know what has happened, former ministers stole millions he did nothing it is a blatant show of incompetence”.
Meanwhile, the OSP in the press conference declared former Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive.
The OSP has declared him a fugitive for failing to appear for interrogation into corruption-related investigations.
Ken Ofori Atta has been accused of causing financial loss to the state in several dealings including the construction of the famous National Cathedral and Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA’s) – Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML).
