Nana Yaw Kesse a Peace FM Journalist has fired heavy missiles at the Special Prosecutor Kissi Agyebeng after he declared the former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta a fugitive.
According to Nana Yaw Kesse, was it yesterday Kissi Agyebeng realised the former finance minister Ken Ofori-Atta was wrong Ghana?
He asserted that Kissi Agyebeng does not know what he is doing as a Special Prosecutor.
Speaking on Peace FM, Nana Yaw Kesse detailed, “So, don’t you know the Special Prosecutor does not know his work? The work he is doing I can even do it, if I am there I will just call a press conference and mention some as corrupt, after I will not arrest anyone. We should tell the truth to the Special Prosecutor, he is not doing his work well, it is not shyness that they have given you work and knowing you can’t do it, you resign. We were in this country when the Special Prosecutor told us about Cecilia Dapaah after all he did how did the case end up?
So the Special Prosecutor are you telling us that yesterday was when you knew Ken Ofori Atta had wrong Ghana, is that what you are saying? Special Prosecutor If you are really wild that they have given you a job as a Special Prosecutor and coming to prosecute people there are a few questions you need to answer for Ghanaians to take you seriously”, he added.
Nana Yaw Kesse further questioned Kissi Agyebeng on some of his cases, saying, “Special Prosecutor, why didn’t you go all the way with the La Bianca case, what happened in that case? Ghanaians deserve to know, what happened to the Cecilia Dapaah case, Save Ghana Football gave you a document and listed corruption going on at the Ghana Football Association since then you have not been able to acknowledge that you have been petitioned by Save Ghana Football about the GFA. Why don’t you want to investigate Kurt Okraku?
You are picking and choosing cases, do you think that is how a Special Prosecutor works? The National Cathedral hole that was dug was it today? The Agyapadie what is in that Agyapadie. When have you become a Doctor in Ghana to know when someone is well”, he added.
The Journalist further called on Kissi Agyebeng to reflect on whether Ghanaians have benefitted from him since he became a special prosecutor.
“Think about this since you became the Special Prosecutor the work Ghanaians have given you and the monies they have spent on you what profit have Ghanaians gained from you juxtapose it”, Nana Yaw Kesse added.
Meanwhile, the OSP Kissi Agyabeng declared Ken Ofori Atta a fugitive for failing to appear for interrogation into corruption-related investigations.
Ken Ofori Atta has been accused of causing financial loss to the state in several dealings including the construction of the famous National Cathedral and Ghana Revenue Authority (GRA’s) – Strategic Mobilisation Ghana Ltd (SML).
