According to Abronye DC, he was not given a single contract under the Akufo-Addo government throughout his 8 years in government.

Abronye DC revealed the only contract offered to him was by Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh.

He asserted that Ken Ofori-Atta refused him a contract and later signed a commencement letter to Asante Bediatuo’s child.

Speaking in an interview on Wontumi TV, on February 20, 2025, Abronye stated, “Which road did I construct they will say Abronye didn’t do well so they are going to investigate, which supply has the NPP under Akufo-Addo given me that they will Abronye you were told to supply 10 chairs and you brought 7 but took 10 chairs money so go and arrest him”.

For 8 years, no minister under the NPP administration has given me a contract, it was Napo who gave me some with Chairman Kutin, when we got there Ken Ofori-Atta refused, he told us plainly at his office he was not going to give us the contract but that same day he gave a commencement letter to  Asante Bediatuo’s child”, he added.

His revelation comes as some Ghanaians are claiming he has gone into hiding due to fear of prosecution under the administration of President John Dramani Mahama.

According to him, he was not offered any contract for the John Mahama administration to investigate him over wrongdoing.

He added, “I am telling Mahama that he won’t survive because of the behaviour and the current path of his appointees. The kind of things they are doing, including the president himself, might lead to the downfall of his administration,” he stated.

“They claim I have gone into hiding, but I am ready to stand trial, and I will be acquitted because I have done nothing wrong. If you ever hear of my arrest, it will be on the radio, and that will be due to hatred, not any wrongdoing”, he added.

Abronye DC further warned Mahama and his appointees he could storm the Jubilee House and warn him.

“If President Mahama and his appointees bring corruption allegations against me, I will surpass them all in any charges. So, if they joke with me, I can enter the Jubilee House and warn him to be careful about what he is doing”, she boldly added.
