The majority chief whip Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor has debunked reports his balls were squeezed during the clash between the Majority and Minority Caucus of Parliament on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
The Akim Oda member of parliament Alexander Akwasi Acquah in an interview with Oyerpa claimed Dafeamekpor’s balls were squeezed during vetting chaos.
In an interview, the MP said, “During the chaos, one of the MPs hid under the table and squeezed the balls of Rockson Neslon Dafeamekpor forcing him to scream.”
Reacting to the reports Rockson-Nelson Dafeamekpor wrote on X, “ Pls ignore this JOKE. It’s pure fabrication. Hon. Akwasi Acquah, you know this is a silly joke”.
The Majority and Minority Caucus were engaged in a violent scuffle following a heated argument over the vetting of Minister of Foreign Affairs-designate, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa on Thursday, January 30, 2025.
Meanwhile, Alban Bagbin, the Speaker of Parliament has suspended four members of parliament following Thursday’s ministerial vetting chaos.
The suspended MPs include the Majority Chief whip Rockson Nelson Dafeamekpor and the minority chief whip Frank Annoh-Dompreh, Alhassan Sulemana Tampuli and Jerry Ahmed Shaib.
However, the minority caucus in Parliament has rejected the Speaker of Parliament, Alban Bagbin’s decision to suspend three members of their MPs.
