Dr Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister has revealed he was not expecting a ministerial role under the John Mahama administration.
According to him, considering his age he was expecting a Deputy Ministerial role or a CEO role.
Speaking in an interview with GH One TV, Dr Frank Amoakohene detailed, “Honestly, I wasn’t expecting a ministerial role. Considering my age and all, I was expecting a Deputy Ministerial role or a CEO role, or even still to remain within the party and work for the party. I didn’t think that I would get lucky”.
He further revealed that he spent time watching other ministers vetting to prepare for his.
“I spent time watching other ministers and their responses to understand how best to approach the vetting”, he added.
Meanwhile, the Ashanti Regional Minister has revealed former member of parliament for Adansi Asokwa KT Hammond lost his parliamentary seat because of toilets.
According to Dr Frank Amoakohene, no community in KT Hammonds constituency had a public toilet.
He revealed that during the campaign period, people in the KT Hammond constituency complained bitterly about the lack of a public toilet.
